Yes, thats true - Keeping me there for the max time possible actually earnt them more money than it cost them to hold me
Had I been mexican, I'd have only spent a couple of weeks, before being bussed back across the border. But cause they had to send me to the UK, and I no longer had a valid passport, they decided to keep me there or as long as they legally could.
