Instead of books get an iPad or Surface, then you can read Kindle Nook & iBooks. Reading on a Mini in bed is great. Don't have to lug around a big, heavy book. Try taking 20 book to read on a plane. Easy to hold in bed, and you don't get 2 am complaints about the reading light disturbing GF's sleep.
Being able to buy books from all 3 allows you to price compare. there's a lot of great books I've gotten for free or 99 cents.
For some cool mystery/sci-fi a series of books by César García Muñoz & Fernando Trujillo Sanz, commonly known as the Black Rock Prison series. 1st is Ted & Todd's Secret. Read in order.
