Suppose (yes, I know 99% of everyone getting into this thinks they have the newest neatest idea that no one else has tried or even thought of.... I realize that...) but just
suppose.... that I had a new great idea for content, something like I was the first person to think of anal sex.... and it was just a matter of time till I put my clips on clips4sale that other people would be copying me.... so while I would enjoy a few months of being the front-runner (because I spent 4-6 months filming content first), I knew that within 6 months to a year I would be flooded with copycats. Just suppose that I had a pretty solid original idea.
What type of strategy would someone here suggest for my situation, if I wasn't interested in the traffic/links/clicks that are a part of a lot of people's business model. Suppose I was only interested in selling my clips or having my own website... and wanted to spend most of my time producing new content.
Is a very successful clips4sale store a solid form of success, or is there a whole other level of potential having your own site with your own content, if it's moderately successful?
I know this is all hypothetical, and very general, but if there's a clear avenue that someone who (against all odds)
did have an original, interesting idea should take, what would you suggest for this person...?
Thanks in advance for your thoughts.... and I'm new to this site, and so far I'm enjoying how much I've learned from reading the threads....
