It was top 20 overall. Did it in 2:19, but I was WAY behind the first place guy. Luckily I met a marathon runner at the start and we did it together. He paced me on the running and I helped him on the obstacles.
To train, I would recommend running every other day. Start at 3 miles and work up to 12 miles. (don't run the last week before the race). On the days in between running, do weight lifting with high reps, LOTS of chin ups, and explosive jumping exercises.
Super fun overall, and buy some really cheap shoes that you can throw away or donate at the end.
P. S. You will be bruised, scratched, gouged, stiff and sore for days afterwards, and on the electrical obstacles, don't go slow, just push through as fast as you can.
ENJOY!
