I find that having the keyword in the domain can help, but it's not essential. There are so many different elements that can contribute to a good listing that missing one of them is typically not going to totally kill you.

Think of being attracted to a mate. You might be interested in looks, figure, humor, personality, and intelligence. Odds are if one of those five elements is missing, you will still be attracted to that person.
