The Nixon Administration has been providing the world with all kinds of gifts and wisdom. Pre-emptive strikes, state assassinations, etc. Kissinger made weekly visits to the Bush admin and he is still active today.
"The Fog of War" was enlightening. No conspiracy theories, just some of the criminals relieving their consciences before they croak. What little they have/had.
The struggle over influence in se asia and viet nam continues to today. the China/Japan row over islands has nothing to do with territory. Its all about an ocean filled to the rim with resources. China is flipping out because they have very little ocean access. US wants the lions share and plans on forcing it to happen. Our gov has no problems sending the working and middle classes to their needless deaths over resources and money.
I expect war very soon.
