I heard they like to "hard sell" on message boards. No idea if it's true or not though.

Just take a good a look at the range of servers they offer and what comes with those servers. I don't know of any cheap hosting provider that offer the quality bandwidth and server specs as OVH do, which is why they are growing at a phenominal pace.
