I assume we all know that the mathematical odds on each of the billions upon billions upon billions of occurences, needed to get to the point of where we are today is almost as incomprehensible as imagining the size of the universe.
How it's anything at all to do with having a big ego if you don't believe in lifeforms more advanced than us is beyond me.

thats a fair point, I guess most people assume it based on the size of the universe but yeah the evidence just isnt in yet.
even the famous
drake equation doesn't really count for much for much and is next to pointless as it is just a guess based on a guess based on more guesses.
not near enough data to make any sensible calculation really. Probably as reasonable to suggest we are number 1 as to say we are nothing at all. idk
