Someone who is determined to kill themselves will find a way. People who are less determined and do not have access to firearms do not have a sure fire way of killing themselves. Japan has strict gun laws, yet suicide is a lot higher there, playing on the train tracks is a favorite.
The reason I posted this is because in the OP, it made it look like 1 million people had been murdered, that's not the case.

Carbon is not the problem, it makes up 0.041% of our atmosphere , 95% of that is from Volcanos and decomposing plants and stuff. So people in the US are responsible for 13% of the carbon in the atmosphere which 95% is not from Humans, like cars and trucks and stuff and they want to spend trillions to fix it while Solar Panel plants are powered by coal plants
