Yea that's pretty much me as well.. There are certain types of blow them up Hollywood movies that I don't mind watching, but they are generally sci fi related. Transforms, Alien, Predator, Terminator type franchise's.. However I have no interest in the typical shoot them up big explosion stuff that Hollywood pushes out the door to feed the brain-dead masses.

I'd much rather watch a low budget movie that has a good story line vs some big explosion high budget bad plot garbage.
