It's not so much the length of the video as much as it is the usable content within it. I've seen some companies put out 1 minute videos where 15-30 seconds (25-50% of the video) of it does nothing but show the site's url on a black background. That's not really helpful. In fact it's a negative for an affiliate since it encourages the user to type in the url to bypass the affiliate getting commission for the sale.

I agree with you totally! This why I listed "full videos" as a choice (although honestly they aren't "full" videos; a "full" video would be about twenty minutes LOL).
The vids will have pre-and post- roll credits, opening and closing sequences basically, and will be watermarked so it's almost impossible to avoid that "a surfer will type-in the URL". That will happen regardless with a watermark.
But giving the affiliates what they need, and being equal with them (treating them the way i treat tube site CPP's) is key and will be done!
