the important part of that lease deal tesla is advertising is it is due to fisker going bankrupt recently, and it happened very fast and is very ugly, thus my post about fisker above.
tesla is dealing with a consumer confidence issue, potential customers with $80k to spend on a car should be very concerned about that brand and dealer/service network not being around when their high-priced schnazzy electric car needs *calibrating*.
