My neighbor has one of these and he said it is great but he does not commute far and when he does he drives his other car. So you still need a backup car. Try to go on a family trip and have to sit every 300 miles for 4+hrs while you wait for the car to fill up. Just not seeing it.
Not figured out yet how this is the future. California has rolling blackouts when there is a strain on the grid so now we are all going to plug our cars in. I guess traffic will be better when the power is but I guess that is the same as if you did not fill up since the pumps are electric.
My feeling is the car is awesome, but electric is not the solution.
