You make it sound like having a degree in Computer Science is some big accomplishment, lol. Your peers and competition are people from the Indian sub-continent and Eastern Europe with comparable skills willing to work for a fraction of the wages people of your ilk would need to earn a decent living in North America or Western Europe. Not just anyone can do what I do, at least not very successfully.
For what it's worth I don't really think that a B.S. in Business Administration & Marketing like I earned means much of anything either when it comes to real world practicality or eventual success. The only real education worth anything is self-education and what you do with yourself career or business wise afterwards means a lot more than a degree anyway. However it appears I was correct that my honors and G.P.A. were indeed higher than yours since you admitted to the former and didn't challenge me on the latter, so my original point is well proven.
FYI, I chose to get into the porn business at a time in the pre-Internet age when it was booming and soon got into the creative side of things because it afforded me a more interesting career and lifestyle than putting on a suit and tie and working in an office. Twenty years later I'm still enjoying what I do and have a great lifestyle as a result so I'm very happy with my decision. Hope you are too! :-)
