Serious question. I'm not some conspiracy guy, just very curious why security footage is almost always very bad quality which makes it super hard to see/recognize faces. I always see it on the news when they have video/pics of subjects from security cameras the quality is so bad you can hardly see anything. What's the point of having security cameras if the quality is so low? Why not get better quality cameras, it's 2013.
