Such crap, when my father went in having a heart attack he was seen right away... My mother had cancer and got super treatment... my son recently had surgery and the experience with the doctors / hospital was incredible. The only thing we paid for was TV access which is a 3rd party that handled it.
If you go into the emergency with a broken finger you'll wait, they prioritize!
Our hospitals are old but that's being taken care of now with two new massive ones being built.
I like to bitch about a lot of things, healthcare in canada is not one of them
