You're forgetting the fact that while we're in this mortal body and stage, we need cash monies to do things we really enjoy, whether that's a new watch, paying for our kids' education, employing people, donating to deemed worthy causes, making sure our kids have shelter, warmth, food, and a ton of other shit that society, and you, see as 'material' (which word almost always is used to imply it's somehow bad), and that we owe it to ourselves *at this stage* of whatever eternal life we do or don't have, to fully experience and enjoy life. And that, my matrix-fearing friend, who lives in more fear than anyone he tells is, is them there facts.
You assume everyone who doesn't have the same rigid views as yourself is a sheep living in fear and a slave blah blah blah, and proceed to tell them how to think and act, in the name of making sure someone else doesn't tell them how to think and act
