Whatever RummyBoy. I don't want to argue about the country of India.
But I've seen third world countries...and a country that has always had a lot of riches and in the 20th and 21st century has been one of the world's powerhouses in military, technology, and medical advances isn't third world or even as you said a "former" third world country.
At least not in your lifetime, your parents, lifetimes, and your grandparents lifetimes.
Are there lots of poor people there? Yeah. Are there also lots of rich people. Yes and have been for more centuries than the U.S. has been in existence.
I think people should travel more and see the world instead of just assuming things from what they may have seen in the media (they always show the worst)
