The Montreal branch of partnercash.com is also looking for a qualified backend programmer, the position is only available in-house at our Montreal office. The salaries range anywhere between 55k to 80k per year, depending on your experience.
? Writing standards compliant PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript and JQuery
? Ensuring cross-browser compatibility
? Mobile web development
? Website and database API design, architecture and integration
? Integration of merchant provider API's (Paypal, Moneris, etc.)
? MySQL, MongoDB, Redis and/or relational database fundamentals
? Working within MVC frameworks (i.e. Symfony2, etc.)
? Server side application development & web services
? Troubleshooting & bug fixes
? Website SEO optimization and security
DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
REQUIREMENTS:
? Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent with 3+ years related experience
? Strong knowledge of PHP (OOP)
? Experience with MySQL, Redis
? Knowledge of HTML/CSS/JS/jQuery
? Experience in building scalable websites to handle high volumes of traffic
? Excellent analysis and problem-solving skills
? Ability to work independently as well as in a team
? Excellent communication skills in english (written and spoken)
? Ability to deal with constantly changing priorities and requirements
NICE TO HAVE:
? Experience with Atlassian Tools (i.e. JIRA, Confluence, etc.)
? Experience with NGINX, GIT, JSON
? Experience building API's
? Experience working in a UNIX/Linux environment
? Experience with e-commerce sites, including CMS' like OpenCart and payment gateways
? Experience with FFMPEG and/or other video encoding technologies
