Sutter said the conditon was "life threatening". Parents took their child out of the hospital without going through the proper procedures, and took the child to Kaiser Hospital. Kaiser told them them the "child was in no danger" and they saw "no reason for the child to be in the hospital".
Sutter hospital insists the child's health and welfare has been threatened and requires medical care, and when the parents took the child from the hospital without checking the kid out the hospital called police - which they are required to do by law.
This is bullshit. One hospital says there is a problem, another hospital says there isn't. In the mean time their child has been taken away from them. There is no reason for this; Kaiser Hospital says the child is fine.
I believe the child was born with some kind of minor birth defect which isn't life threatening.
