lets say that the state you live in passed a law that made it illegal to be with a woman. You couldn't even made any kind of physical contact with a woman in public without fear of being jailed. At the same time they made gay lifestyles completely acceptable. Gay people could hold hands and kiss in public, gay people can screw their brains out in private, get married etc.
Would you just move to another state and give up, or would you fight to have the laws/rules changed back to how they were or at least make them more acceptable to straight people?

Not very good example because woman+man is biologically normal and man+man is abnormal (something went wrong with body/person development).
