It depends on what kind of music you listen to, what the source is (what you connect the headphones to) and where you'll be using the headphones.

The Sennhesier HD-25-II's were "good enough" for me, and I since I listen to mostly hiphop they do well at that. Also they work fine from an ipod without a headphone amp. Those were pretty much my checkboxes when choosing, and I'm happy with my purchase.
