I collect a lot of weird things non sports related though.. Hammers, weapons (non shooting kind mostly), musical instruments (mostly brass and guitars). I have an embarrassingly large old toy collection, mostly star wars crap that i collected when i was younger. |
i haven't collected cards since i was a kid but i still have them. my favorite was my jose canseco rookie card. pretty much worthless these days. i recently missed out on a chance to have it signed. a mall just a few blocks over from where i live had him there signing stuff for people. i was there, wondered what all the fuss was, didn't realize it was him till the following day. oh well. some others favorites i had from back in the day, cecil fielders rookie card, ken griffy jr rookie card, that bo derek card where he wearing football gear holding a baseball bat...a bunch of others i can't remember. i also have all the desert storm card collections that were out there.
as for other stuff i collected, i have a few old pop bottles and other various crap. i had a stamp collection at one point but lost it somewhere along the way. could still be in my parents basement somewhere i guess. i've also collected 1000's of live bootleg cds more recently but gave that up as it became too time consuming. these days i collect domains.
