Takes me back. That was a great year. Fleetwood Mac released Rumours near the start of the year. Star Wars came out at the start of the summer, SNF closed out the year.
I was in the Navy stationed at a little base in Ferndale California, middle of Humboldt County. Pot was great quality and cheap, Coke was flowing freely and nobody had heard of crack yet. We were still a couple of years away from AIDs so sex was easy and plentiful. Disco was hot but there was still lots of great Rock and Roll coming out. We were smoking joints in the bars and the movie theaters and nobody cared.
Just a great year all around.
