yea, you are right, I was half-joking about dieing from it, but still word on the street is to be careful with it... consuming raw kava root from a reputable source in moderation is probably safe, but I would keep the potential risks in mind... I certainly would avoid chasing an ounce of raw kava root with half a bottle of booze or using it while on tylenol or other hepatoxic meds...
