all the shit i work with in the shop, here's what i deal with in my personal vehicles exclusively. alpine for the electronics, period. anps & decks. subs are all JL audio, period. for main speakers, if you want something that sounds truly amazing, boston pro seperates. they run about $650 for a set, but they are fucking worth it. if you're not looking to spend that much, i'd go with some nice alpine or eclipse speakers (owned both.. pretty nice, especially the alpine ddrives).
i work on a lot of stereo equipment, and it's a shame what some people put in their rides
. even the stuff in my truck isn't that fancy/expensive, but it sounds pretty nice. eclipse coaxials with an alpine cd deck. no amp or anything, it's just a daily. but the quality is good.
