Maybe you missed that part where there was a human being holding that phone and
it didn't auto-rip the fuck out of her hand and fly over to a thief who was minding his own business before the invisible electron magnet ray threw her to the ground.

She's alive because she released the phone and fell to the floor instead of being drug
outside and under the bus with the thief.
