Im really only trying to use one file either .mp4 or .flv, and making 3 or 4 copies of one video is insane. If i cant find solution ill attempt to convert videos to flash and send mobile users somewhere else but i would rather not

You can use HTML5 video player for MP4 files with fallback to Flash for browsers not supporting MP4/h.264 video playback, and ultimately to file download.
Or better you can provide HTML5 video in MP4 + WebM with fallback to Flash, then file download to cover most scenarios. Providing video files in multiple formats and resolutions is super easy and effortless with our program. You only need to upload one file, and the program generates multiple versions using filename templates. You can easily convert your whole content base preserving the filename structure of your CMS, i.e. CARMA style, to provide additional formats to your existing viedeo content.
