As far as I know, S-300 is in service back from 1979 (this must be some modernized version), but having it on soil and know how to use it properly in various scenarios is something that is completely different story. If I understood good, this is just new amount of batteries that were already there ( that is why we didn't see attack from air like in Libya, Iraq, Serbia) and it is now protected with Panzer systems so they are not easy targets. I am just wondering will there be official Russian crew onboard and what if Israeli's attack and kill some of them?
