You know the deal, you've run one. The process is so dead simple now, you install a retail OSX and run a config program after the fact. Anyone could do it, so long as they pick parts that have been tested for compatibility. There's plenty of information out there.

I can see the point in doing that for a desktop, but I have yet to see a regular laptop with the build quality of a Macbook Pro.
