Their support is pretty good, on a consistent basis. I will give them that. But that's just how it should be done and it doesn't need 300% retail markup in some cases to do it. I have owned them for years and will again in the future, but as someone who rarely needs their support and hasn't run into many hardware issues...I'd rather save a little bit. I'm a camera gear whore now. Much like it's a matter of principal for Edgeprod to make sure he's not having issues, it's a matter of principal that I choose not to pay the Apple Tax on everything.

This is why Apple has never cared about being the #1 PC hardware seller. They will happily sell 1/3 less because they make up for it buy selling the same stuff as everyone else in a pretty box for 3 times as much.
