I was born with completely flat feet and have overpronation of the ankles which plays havoc with my alignment. I get extreme "pinching" in a lower and middle vertebra.

The part you stand on slides out and locks in adjustable to your height which makes it balance and you can gently control inverting. You don't have to completely invert to feel the relief but get maximum results doing so. A few minutes is all it takes for me to get days of relief.

I don't know about the other models but the one I got is quite sturdy (and heavy) so I leave it set up, although it will fold up flat enough to slide into a small storage space. Mine has the solid back (like trampoline material) but I can't imagine the ones with the mesh back being any different in the inversion results.

I never have to take anything for back pain these days, let me know if you have any further questions.
