I always found that era so fascinating. how they are still very advanced in terms of mankind's accomplishments and capabilities, an economy that allowed people to prosper, people had respect, worked hard and had beautiful homes to show for it when they did, had good family values (usually) and sooo much less unhealthy distractions for their children.
