. It's doing the rounds for some reason, I've seen it on a few other news sites aswell. That is Pangaea, the best scientifically understood supercontinent.

Plate techtonics + mantle convection = Eventually it will happen again. One theory is North America will eventually become part of Asia, or conjoin to form a new supercontinent. It is also possible, all the land masses will become one again.
