I disagree, Cruise was the shit after '
Top Gun', and that was in 1986 - 27 years ago. He was 23 at the time, and had a slew of hit movies ever since.
A lot of the other young talented actors eventually became big time, but Cruise took off after '
Top Gun'. Bad example.

TAPS' - I don't think he's had a movie that's bombed since that one.
