If it's an aggregated account number then its their problem not yours. But they will do whatever they want and make vague bullshit explanations, thats the way they operate.
Typically if you want to get by with over 1% CB's on a processing account then you also need to stay under 20k/mo in dollar volume as well because even if you are within the card association guidelines and well under their thresholds that is still a high enough volume of sales to theoretically go over the limit and risk analysis at the ISPS will freak out because they know it won't be long before the acquiring bank becomes concerned, who in turn doesn't want unnecessary attention from Visa and Mastercard.
So everybody is covering their asses and you got thrown under the bus. If Zombaio wasn't such a joke they would have put you on a dedicated MID like CCBill does and I would be willing to guess others do.
But you get what you pay for. Zombaio has or had free set up and remember if you aren't paying then you are not the customer, you are the product and now you are being consumed.
