I just educate myself on my rights and what the police are and aren't allowed to do. The fastest way to piss off a cop is to say, "I want an attorney." - as soon as you invoke your rights, they can't ask you shit. If they do, it will get thrown out of court faster than Ralphie Mae getting kicked out of a buffet.
