America is the world leader in crack babies ...

Infant mortality ...

Probably, if we ignore babies born into poverty-stricken families the infant mortality rate would no look so bad in the USA -- that's a tragedy in itself.

Ignoring the health delivery quality of the uninsured with only emergency access to critical healthcare -- again the average healthcare in the USA would look pretty good as compared to the rest of the world.

But reasonable healthcare access should be a right here and not privilege of the "overclass" that can afford it.

Curative advances in Nanomedicine are showing great promise, if regulated in an egalitarian way and offered to all citizens based on need and not ability to pay, could dramatically lower cancer and other complex disease treatment costs freeing up money spent on this that could be used for preventive medicine.

Unfortunately, they are selling stocks and EFTs in Nanomedicine research firms creating the next big-pharma and continuing the the mess we have today.

Healthy people make money so that makes this a real paradox I guess?
