Maybe
just you. My father is disabled (Parkinson's disease) and he's getting all the meds for free (even a wheelchair). He had a few prostate surgeries recently. How much did we pay for it? Nothing!
Me and my wife get tested in a local clinic every year (fluorography, various blood tests (CBC, biochemistry, hormones, viruses, cancer markers), cardiograms etc). She also gets tested as a women (mammography, gynecology etc).
Everything is for free here. Furthermore, just yesterday she has cured two teeth. And yes, she paid nothing for it.
Need more examples? Anyone here in Russia pays nothing for calling/using an ambulance.
So I believe you are living in some shithole or you just have no idea about the healthcare you can have for free
Do the US citizens have something similar? No, they haven't. Happy living in the "first wold"
