I would be extremely skeptical in accepting Paypal for my site, unless they specifically stated in their TOS that they process transactions for adult related sites. And even then, I most likely would not use them. What happens when PayPal decides in 6 months to send out an email blast, letting everyone know that processing for adult sites isn't in their best interest? What happens to all of your new members that are set up for automatic recurring subscriptions through PayPal? I mean, you could send out a mass email blast, letting everyone know that they'd better turn around and sign back up with your site through another billing company, but to me that's pretty cheesy and it also looks very unprofessional.
I'll continue using CCBILL. They have been working very well for my site for 8 years now, and I don't think they will be sending out any emails anytime soon stating that they no longer accept transactions for adult sites. With PayPal, this a situation that could very easily and realistically take place, and I am not willing to take that chance. And especially given their history, in terms of processing transactions for adult related products and/or adult related services, why in the world would anyone else?
