All of this NSA PRISM spy shit is even more fun for non-americans. At least you guys can get in the gubbermint's face. Being across the northern border I get spied on and I have no recourse whatsoever. We just get to sit here and take it up the hoop.

There are investigations as to why Canada seems to purposely pass network traffic through "boomerang" points in the USA that are known to be NSA listening posts. Apparently, the moment the data hits US soil the US's laws apply (go figure).
