I've seen Steppenwolf a couple times at Hampton Beach (including one show where they teamed up with The Guess Who)
John Kay was still rocking hard, though he had to be damn close to 60
Although it's their most well known / popular song, Born to Be Wild is overplayed -- the equivalent of Truckin' for the Grateful Dead -- so many better songs from these bands but so few fans get to hear them
