IMHO that is how police should behave and if they are unable to handle situations like that, they shouldn't be on the force.

Kudos to this guy, I wish there were more like him.
They are SERVANTS who are supposed to PROTECT THE PEOPLE. They are not supposed to intimidate or abuse them. Somewhere long the way shit got twisted and now everyone thinks raiding your house, acting like an asshole, shooting people for moving too fast, or wearing military raid gear while driving a war wagon and carrying assault weapons is perfectly normal. It's not. They do not need to show overwhelming force and be assholes in order to protect the people.
Think about what "protection" really means and then look at the current state of US police. It is appalling. The policeman in the video could have just as easily killed that guy for whatever reason he made up, but he didn't. He kept his cool and acted like a real pro. That kind of officer is the kind of officer that the world needs of. Not assholes who barge in your home, abuse you, or bark profanities at you.
A person should never have to fear a run in with the police, or turn on all the lights in their home so they don't get shot.
