There are a lot of people that are not comfortable joining porn sites with their CC (because they don't trust porn sites with their CC data), but would not mind joining if they could do it trough PayPal (because they trust PayPal and they know their card info won't be in the hand of some porn site operator). I think adult sites can get quite some extra sales with PayPal.
Of course it would be better if you could accept PayPal directly without an extra party (Epoch) involved, but since PayPal doesn't allow that, this is the only solution. It's worth paying a fee to be able to make extra sales that you previously could not make.
