Fox news is a propaganda machine because its a great business model, pure and simple.
The great thing about their business model is they can change their "opinions" at any point and their viewers won't even question it. Iraq war used to be a great thing now every republican says "I was for Afghanistan but against Iraq".... Bullshit. NSA surveillance used to a great tool to stop "terrorists" now its big brother.... Bullshit.
MSNBC is the exact same but they just can't rile up their viewers to care as much. When the next Republican president wins MSNBC's ratings will go up. And MSNBC will rail against the NSA and Fox will defend it and the dance will continue.
Fact is the majority of people already have their mind made up and search for news that will validate their own views of the world.
So keep the Conservative vs Liberal fights going because its great business for Fox News, both political parties and corporate lobbyists.
