Hell...think of how much pollution we've thrown up in the air in just the last two decades of blowing people up with bombs and missiles.

Also we pretty much wiped out the entire Vietnamese jungle with napalm during the Vietnamese War. Wasn't that an ecological disaster? Thousands of miles of jungle burnt. All the animals that lived there killed.

But somehow...it all grew back.

My point is that the U.S. govt. lives in a glass house. The govt. tries to preach it's holier than thou message to dirt poor countries about the environment...but we've been the worst abuser of the world's environment than anybody else. That is when it suits our govt.

When it doesn't? We suddenly get all "concerned".

Fucking politicians in Washington D.C. are no better than the tinpot dictators in South America.

Washington, DC is saying "Hey, we made our money by raping the environment...but YOU can't"
