Surprised the jet car episode is blocked. But it was a bit shocking, that nearly stopped the show altogether at the time.
You should try and find some old Top Gear (if you haven't seen it, to compare), it wasn't always this way. I can barely remember who was on the show, Tiff Needell from fifth gear (few new Top Gear episodes), Noel Edmunds, Quentin Wilson etc. but it was more about general cars before, and less an entertainment show. |
lol, i googled that 3rd presenter back when i scraped up those season 1 episodes, yeah, jason or rick. he was a bit offputting, like a cheesy used car salesman, but i read he went on to other shows, etc.
i was thinking of trying to dig up those original episodes, i heard mention of them but that's about it. maybe clarkson referred back to it during an episode in season 1???
i'll have to look for the original though.

i'll go ahead and say it here, top gear is a fucking fantastic show and *maybe* the best show on television, imo. what's even more impressive is that's 20 years of tele. this last season kicked ass.
