Parents should be held responsible for the actions of their children until their kids are of legal age in my opinion. The world is far too full of asshole parents... that needs to change. Particularly in the US. If people focused on keeping the family whole and emphasizing education, we wouldn't have a prison system full to the roof of uneducated kids from broken homes.
