there is a niche market for it and there probably always will be one, i don't think anyone would disagree with that part.
here's my problem. Have you viewed a movie in 3d at home? Or even in a theatre? Most of us have i'm sure. When you saw this 'new version' of 3d did you think to yourself "this is so awesome i need to see everything this way!" ? I didn't. Not the same way I thought when i first saw hd on a tv.. I'd rather not watch something in 3d because i hate wearing glasses or watching shit with tints because it ruins the colour.
I'm not an authority on the subject by any means but those are my thoughts on it anyway.
