Independence, freedom of schedule, $$$.

There's a little bit of idealism in it for me too, far as presenting explicit sexuality in a creative/positive light goes - IMO we need more of that in our sexually-repressed violence-loving materialistic society. So yeah, I second Cunt Destroyer.
